Nuevos sin restricción y para usados existen algunos requisitos. La mayoría de bancos prestan para vehículos usados de un máximo de 10 años en particulares, aunque el máximo puede ser hasta 15 años. Es indispensable que el vehículo sea asegurable; ya que sin una póliza todo riesgo no se desembolsa el préstamo. El carro no debe tener limitaciones a la propiedad o embargos ya que la mayoría de bancos prendan el vehículo como garantía de negocio.
